28 Days to go until the 2nd Part of KK World Without Borders SEPTEMBER EVENT DOUBLE HEADER!! Excitement +++++. The USA Election is heading into its critical phase. Donald Trump has a new team!! Hillary Clinton has a new lead!! But history has a way of turning things around. Leads disappear!! Surprises happen!! It happened in the 1988 Race between Democrat Michael Dukakis and Fepublican George H. W. Bush!! It happened in the 1948 Race between Democrat Harry Truman and Republican Thomas E. Dewey!! Will it happen again!! In 2016? Sound off!!

The Obama Hiroshima Speech made history!! It followed an epochal visit to the site of the first wartime use of nuclear weapons. To a few in the USA, it is an apology cloaked in rhetoric, deserving  of censure by the US Congress!!  To most in Japan, it is a poignant and heartfelt speech that is appreciated! But to some here in Japan, there still is a question as to why Obama came to Hiroshima without clearly uttering the word “apology”!  What was it? Why should not only Japanese and Americans, but the world-be inspired by the Hiroshima Speech? Join World Without Borders First Sunny Summer Sunday Brunch Presentation Forum on June 26th!

ワールドウィズアウトボーダーズ、初の試み『Summer Sunday Brunch Presentation Forum

Great looking back on this July 31st Sunny Summer Sunday Sound Off Brunch Forum. Summer seems like it should last forever!! But it ends in one month-just about. Our Final 2016 Sunny Summer Sunday Sound Off Brunch will be on Sunday, September 18th: USA ELECTION MELTDOWN!! Even now, NEWS EVERY DAY!! The latest?!? !! On Friday (yesterday) Trump’s Campaign Manager Paul Manafort just quit the Trump Campaign!! Every day something new!! By September 18th there will be much more excitement……..Just say you heard it here first…..along with barbecue, drink, networking and an incomparable view of Tokyo Bay. It should even be a little cooler then! Come enjoy!!

Friday Club 164(2) was the “2nd Bite of the Apple for those who could not attend the May 27th Forum (that was full) on “Donald Trump, the Republican Nominee for the US Presidency. Attendants had a great time doing our “形容詞 (Brand Game). Not surprisingly, some Brands were the same for Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Among our attendees last night, the most colorful brand from the political side. The myth of the “Dry Japanese Politician” was destroyed last night!! (At least here at Friday Club 164 #2)!!Another surprise, this time good news for Donald! Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in the Mock Presidential Vote by those in attendance. (I did not cast a ballot)!

Our next event shall be the Sunny Sunday Summer Brunch Presentation Forum on the 26th of this month (June)!

仕事帰りに夕食をとりながら気軽に英語でディスカッションが出来るクラブです。

英語のスキルにかかわらず、自分の意見が言えるようになります。

Donald Trump is now the Official Republican Candidate for the USA Presidency. He emerged a surprising winner as a first timer, in a field of 17 Republicans!. His marketing and branding strategy and his presentation style were unique. They eliminated all contenders, including such Establishment Candidates as Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio! Now, he is focusing on the race against Hillary Clinton!  How can we expect this unique presentation and branding style to continue? How has it changed the landscape of America in its process to elect the President? Can he win?

Our Terrace overlooks the Shibaura Seaside, Odaiba, the Canal Waterways, and Tennozu Isle!  No other organisation combines great food, adrenaline boost, interactive communication, cutting edge presentation, stimulation, relaxation, gourmet food, drink, and fun the way that the Friday Club does. Most clubs do one or at the most two things well. They are either for fun or for serious education. The Friday Club has does many things well- for a wide variety of people. The Friday Club was founded on the 1-year anniversary of 9/11. It has met 164 times-and the sites guarantee you are never bored. From the Tokyo American Club to swanky Italian restaurants in Minato-ku-from the Shibaura House to a 23rd floor penthouse type home office of its parent organisation, you are always stimulated here. No wading through crowds of raised hands trying to meet the Presenter. No walking out frustrated because you could not ask the question you wanted to ask. Never a disappointment that either YOU or a FRIEND that you want to say something never had a chance. No struggling not to fall asleep at 45 minute to 1.5 hour presentations. At the Friday Club, no presenter speaks for more than 15-20 minutes at a time before it opens up to your comments, your feedback, your opinions, and questions, and yes, even at time, debate. You never have to wait patiently for the presentation to end before you can enjoy food and drink. You have every chance to network, to meet new people, to sit back if you want, to engage in active discussion if you wish. You can have it any way you want it at the Friday Club. Ages range from 20 on up!! There is no dress code. But do not be afraid to wear your best threads-if you wish!! Bring your best – to the best!!
